Our response date was June 1st and I know its impossible to expect everyone to respond on time. We have a lot of unanswered responses. I was wondering for those ladies who have /had the same problem...did you call/email the people and what did you do if there was still no response? How did you hunt down the non responsive people? If you never received a response did you just count them as no?

I haven't had to deal with this yet, but I forsee lots of calls in my future. I would give the people who didn't respond a call. I wouldn't assume it is a no until you hear from that person. It would be really awkward for them to show up and not have a seat... but then again, it would be their own damn fault!!

Yes i had to make a few calls and i was still waiting 5 days before the wedding for one response. Its a pain but unfortunelty things happen people forget or they are just rude. Dont worry you will get them all before you have to get the final count in. Good Luck

Wow, I am psychotic when it comes to being organized. The thought of not knowing the number people up to a few days before the wedding drives me crazy. I made the response date so early to make sure everyone responds. The funny thing is that relatives were asking us for invitations back in December. I think I might have to camp outside their houses until I get the response card.

mINE WAS juNE 1ST ALSO AND we are missing like 20 invitaiotns. by tomorrow if i don't get more I will have my mom and FIL on the job to call. I have been calling people already just to see if I can get an answer

I am with you on that. I actually called my aunt and cousins asking if they were coming and the reason why I was calling because they were the only ones who were so rude not to respond. I got three yes's but day of the wedding only 2 showed and I still havent heard why the third didnt show. PS no card no $$. I guess he thinks I am made of money too. (Vent over)
