Well he is your brother and you want your neices there. I would tell his ex you are very sorry but she cannot come. But also make it very clear to your brother that his GF is not invited and if she shows up she will be escorted out. This is your wedding not his so he has no right to bring who he wants.

Thank you! i am fine with asking his ex not to come, even though it would suck to un-invite someone who i know really wants to be there. But the last time my whole family saw him, he was with his wife and two kids. Now all of sudden there going to see him with some strange girl and two kids. Don't you think that would be the talk of the wedding? I'm putting so much time and effort into all these little details and i feel that if this girl is there then she will be the center of attention. My wedding is not the place for her to go around and meet all of my family!

I kind of have a different opinion the Mici here.. my father married a woman 8 months after my mother passed..she's horrible and selfish and just a bad person...I of course invited him with her and told her that if she doesn't come she'd only be embarrassing my father and make herself look bad.

I feel like Im going to have so much going on that having her there will be less drama and you can totally avoid her.

This is to keep the peace with your brother and remember she is the mother of your niece..she can easily stop you from seeing her.

I would disinvite the ex...definitely....but I would allow the other girl there....

Just to keep peace and less drama....

Good luck

This is so hard! I would have no problems with this girl if she was normal. But she's stalked my brother, had his ex wife arrested, hid in the backyard of his ex's house and called my brother and said 'i see her tucking in the kids, can you come outside'. One minute he's telling us how crazy she is and not to trust her and now all of a sudden he wants her to be part of the family. I just don't see how it will kill her to not be there on this day. This girl is lucky that my family is nice to her at all! Thanks for the advice though, i appreciate all of your opinions.

If they didn't have a child I would totally agree with not inviting her.. but once a child becomes involved....they need the love and support of all the family,, especially with a crazy mother~!!!!

He is ur brother, so i would tell him straight out that you want JUST him and ur two nieces.... i know it suxs that you will not be able to have his exwife there, but again like i said, he is your brother. I am sure his exwife will understand. Yes, that is going to be an uncomfortable conversation, but you will get through it. Apologize to her and tell her that you will invite her over one night to see pictures and talk about the day.

I will totaly be involved in their kids life. The baby is only 5 weeks old. He has two daughters with his ex who have been through so much these last two years. I just want them to have a good time and not over hear anyone talking about my brother and seeing this new girl take the place of their mother. This whole thing just *****. I just know that i will be uncomfortable with her there. I feel like my brother doesn't even care since he hasn't called me to tell me how he feels. He hasn't said one word to me about any of this! How messed up is that?!

I would do that - thats great advice Michelle!

But just know that by saying that your brother might lash back at you and be like w t f im not coming either!!! So be prepared for that...

As for the ex, I would see if you could go for a special dinner - maybe have her at your bach party
