need advice- Question about copyright

Ok so I took my engagement pics, scanned them in and made my table numbers using piknic. The back of my pics have the copyright with my photographers name on it. Should I make him aware that I did this just to avoid getting penalized in anyway?Advice?TIA!

I think it depends on the photographer. My photographer gave me permission in writing( when I booked with him) to do what I wanted with the pix he takes. He is also giving me a hi-res disc with all the images. If your photographer gave you proofs with his © on the back you might want to let him know to avoid a problem.
