Need Advice re: Donation Favor

Hi All,

What is the best way to inform the guests of the donation favor? More specifically - is putting a couple of cards in frames at each table better, or putting one card explaining the donation on each plate?

Also - does anyone know where you can get the rubber bracelets made? For example, they had the yellow live strong bracelet, or the pink bracelet for breast cancer...We are donating to a very rare disease that one of my relatives has - they don't have bracelets but the color of the organization is green so I'd love to have green bracelets made in support!

I made scrolls. I put a saying that we are doing the donations and tied ribbon around it and tied the almonds to that. They will be put on everyone's plate

This is the wording we are using. We had bookmarks made up and I will attach a tag to it.

To Our Family & Friends,

With much thought & consideration, we have chosen a special way to say ‘Thank You’ for sharing our wedding day with us and to honor the memory of the loved ones we’ve lost.

In lieu of a traditional wedding favor, we have made donations to
American Heart Association & American Cancer Society

We feel the finest gift is one which helps others live longer and healthier lives.

We truly appreciate your being part of our special day.

We're doing scrolls-one for each plate. That way we know each guest will be aware of our donation in lieu of a favor.
