me and dh are going over one of our friends house tonight. we met them at our fave restaursnt be4 the wedding, they got married the same day as us, and went to sandals st lucia regency too! we hung out with them alot on the Hm and after we got back! they bought a house, and we're going their tonight. what do i bring? she said not to bring anything. but i know dh and her dh will watch the football game and have a few beers. besides bringing chips, should i bring her a little housewarming gift? if so, what? a candle, or something SMALL at kolhs or something??? helppp!!! stores close early on sundays! lol

As a housewarming present, bring a pillar candle and a candeholder. Just don't get anything too heavily scented, everyone has different tastes. Everyone can always use another candle. And bring something for the evening like chips or a bottle of wine or some fancy chocolates. Bring what they like, if you know what that is, or bring what YOU like.

well i want to get a good candle or something, like a yankee maybe? nothing that DOESNT smell like stuff in kolhs . . . lol should i run to hallmark and c what they have ? definitely a candle of some sort would be good?

Get maybe candles, or a nice picture frame or something to decorate the house and you can bring a bottle of wine or if they don't like wine get a bottle of something they would like.

id definately bring something, u can do something small like a nice picture frame..or if u dont wana get them 'stuff' u canjust bring a nice big dessert platter/cake or a good bottle of wine...

Yep, get something like candles from BBB. They have Yankee Candles there.

even tho she said she had wine, ALL the wine places near me were closed!....so I got a yankee candle [the reallly big one] in french vanilla at hallmark. the lady says thats the most popular one. i dont like it...lol...i like fruity smells...lol! but yeah, so i g ot that, a gift bag & a cngrats on ur home card and i went to the store and got 2 bags of chips since both dh's will be drinking beer and watching football . . . thats ok, right????? i hope so....lol
