Need Advice: Smithtown Landing Food!!!

I booked the Smithtown Landing because it was adorable, our style and the price was right. We loved the 2 people we're going to work with...but....every once in a while, I keep hearing really bad things about the food. We didn't do a tasting yet, and can always just pick our favs, but does anyone have any comments about this?? I'm getting really nervous. Is it just 'normal wedding food' or is it seriously bad? Some people keep saying it's amazing! So I know I have to try it out myself...but I'm sure it'll be fine, right? Haha - Just need the reassurance I guess. We just won't pick out the things that aren't good...Thank you in advance!

I went to a showcase there that had food... from what I remember it was pretty good. Lessings has a great rep for food. My RH is Timber Point and I went for a tasting and it was soo good!

You are my little Lessing's buddy...

I have liked and disliked the food there. The fish was great, the chicken was ok. If you pick the right chicken you should be fine. The biggest concern to me is the BEEF! Try the beef- make sure you get your hands on that and you will be fine.

Also, ask if you could do a second tasting that will allow you to try the exact items you will be having on your menu. That will help put your mind at ease!

Thank you so much, girls, for making me feel better. I keep getting these scary comments about the food, but if I try it and pick exactly what I want there, I think I will be fine. I'm glad you liked the Timber Point food because it's Lessings, too, obviously, and I think it's the same. Phew!
