I booked the Smithtown Landing because it was adorable, our style and the price was right. We loved the 2 people we're going to work with...but....every once in a while, I keep hearing really bad things about the food. We didn't do a tasting yet, and can always just pick our favs, but does anyone have any comments about this?? I'm getting really nervous. Is it just 'normal wedding food' or is it seriously bad? Some people keep saying it's amazing! So I know I have to try it out myself...but I'm sure it'll be fine, right? Haha - Just need the reassurance I guess. We just won't pick out the things that aren't good...Thank you in advance!

I don't want to be negative, or ruin anything...but it's not super great. I was there years ago for a Christening, and it was ok. But a lot can change in a few years.
My mother, however, was just there in the Spring for a social function with my father's church organization. She had a scallop wrapped in bacon that tasted a little funky, and she came home and proceeded to get sick in both directions for hours.
I sincerely don't want to scare you, but you should be aware of other people's experiences, especially with seafood, which can be a little dicey anyways.
So moral of the story...skip the scallops!
