Need advice: Vendor Frustration!!

Hello girls. I'm totally stressing out here. Some of the vendors involved in my wedding are not being very cooperative in getting back to me on things.

*sigh*

I'm getting married in !! 10 !! days and I don't know whether I'm just stressing out and being too sensetive, or whether this behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

FYI: The most cooperative vendor, BY FAR, is Vinny from High Voltage. I had a huge meltdown in his office on Monday night and he was sooooo nice and sooooo helpful. It's so ironic that the one who I am spending the least ammount of money on is the most helpful!!

Help!!

What seems to be the issues that you are having???

Re: Need advice: Vendor Frustration!!

I send out emails and I make phone calls- and they just aren't returned.

To date, one vendor in particular, hasn't returned *any* of my phone calls or emails. I've sent out about four emails over the course of two weeks- nothing.

I've gotten my Coordinator on them, and she isn't having any success either.

Form what I've heard, this person it notorious for that, so I'm not taking it personally, but to tell you the truth, it is really starting to irritate me.

It is just so completely unprofessional.

You are paying them your hard earned money for their sevices!!! They should NOT be treating you like this. I would keep calling and calling non-stop. Until they get the message. Don't get youself stressed over all of this just take it one vender at a time. Everything is going to work out in the end.

That's really upsetting. The next step I feel would be to just go to the vendors and see them in person this way they can't dodge you.

I was thinking of doing that today, as a matter of fact.

You know what it really is? I don't want to get labeled 'Bridezilla' and have them be even *more* uncooperative.

*sigh* So frustrating.

I completely understand. You don't want to seem like Bridezilla or have awkwardness on your wedding day but unreturned phone calls is ridiculous. Shame on them. I would too call non stop.

Ugh that is the most annoying situation ever! Your stuck b/w a rock and a hard spot b/c you don't want to start ranting and risk them being po'd at you on your wedding day and not doing their job appropriately. You are so patient b/c I would totally be flying off the handle right now. I would start calling AND emailing every day.

Anyway, that's total BS and unprofessional to say the least. When you do your review, make sure you mention all the aggravation. That's the best revenge. GOOD LUCK!

I've decided that when I do my review, not to worry, I *will* get my revenge.

I'm also making sure that this person's direct supervisor knows. At this point, I'm so angry that I might just ask for a refund.

Ya know what - People throw the word bridezilla around way too much. If you are paying thousands of dollars for a service, you better get good service. This is not a 3 dollar happy meal we are talking about and if you weren't happy at mickey d's you would probably say it faster there than when your paying lots more money. I personally don't care if I am labeled a bridezilla. If I am paying for you to do your job, then you should do it!!!!! (That's the attitude I would go in with if I were you) Your wedding is in a couple weeks - Not ages away!

Re: Need advice: Vendor Frustration!!

I know, but when you complain at MickeyD's, they wind up spitting in your food, you know? It just irritates me that you can put so much effort and energy into something, and have it ruined at the last minute by someone who is acting so unprofessional. I'm trying to keep my cool and I'm trying to handle it without flipping out, but I find the unresponsiveness reprehensible.

I made one more phone call and actually spoke to someone today, but I think they were an assistant and weren't really capable of making any sort of administrative decision.

If I don't hear by tomorrow afternoon, I'm going there myself and demmanding to speak with someone.

This is just ridiculous.

Me personally-I would go down there. You work hard for your $ and I am sure you put a lot of time and effort picking these vendors. You should have every phone call and e-mail answered. Good luck!

I posted a couple of weeks ago about how frustrated I was with a couple of non-responsive vendors....and highly recommended ones at that. I can totally relate...it is so unprofessional. I wish you all the best in your last 10 days...this should be a time of happiness, not frustration!

Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

Thanks girls!

You know something else, I feel like you guys are really the only ones who understand my frustration and anxiety.

(well, you and Vinny from High Voltage.)

I told him that he's like a rockstar on here and he just kind of laughed and said that he loves us all.
