Need advice.......considering adding a 3rd FG, w/ 4 months to go!!

Ok, so right now we have 2 FG's- my niece who will be 3 in November and FH's oldest niece (his sisters daughter) who will be 3 in August......the more I see his other nieces & nephews, I keep thinking that I should have added his brothers daughter- she will be 2 this month (but she's actually the same size as the older niece, despite being 9 months younger).

I'm just wondering, would that seem funny to FH's brother & SIL that I'm only asking now with 4 months to go?? We ordered the FG dresses in February, and I already started buying the FG gifts (so I'd now have to get another set of everything). I was thinking that I would tell them that when we first got engaged (in July) that Angelina (their daughter) had only turned 1 two months earlier, so I figured she'd be too young....but the more I see her, the more I realize she's advanced for her age. I just don't want them to be offended that we didn't ask sooner, and I don't want to regret not asking her if it gets any closer to our wedding.

Should I just ask and not worry about how it looks? Or don't bother since we're 4 months away? FH told me to do whatever I want......as usual no input = no help

As long as you have the time to get the dress for her, I think its fine!

And I think the explanation you mentioned is a great one.

I don't think it matters how it might 'look' ... you are including her, which is a sweet and beautiful gesture ... how could that really look bad

I completely agree that it should be considered a sweet gesture..... I'm worried I guess b/c FH's brother can be oddly sensitive sometimes.....and I guess b/c he comes from a really big family, I'm just afraid there would be chatter about it. I didn't want them to think that their daughter was an after thought!!!
