Hi everyone. I am newly engaged as well as new to this board. I am having trouble deciding between Fox Hollow and Chateau Briand for my reception site. If you have been to either one, can you let me know your opinion??

Congratulations!
Just got married 6/6 and our reception at Fox Hollow (Wintergarden room) was fantastic and absolutely our taste. I agree with the other ladies...the 2 places are sooo different decor-wise, it's a matter of personal taste. YOU have to pick which one feels more like your taste. Good luck, The Scotto Bros. do a great job.

Welcome and congrats! I am having my reception at the Fox Hollow, in the Winter Garden Room. I just love it! The only thing is that you have to be aware of is the number of guests that you are having. I think that that room only accommodates 160 people. Beside that, I have heard only good things about weddings there and when I booked, they were a pleasure to deal with. I don't really know anything about CB. If you have any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Good luck.

Congratulations & Welcome!!!
I have been to both & I like both.. it depends on what you like.
Chateau is a but Art Deco, while Fox Hollow is a bit old world style... they both have great food.
I personally liked FOx Hollow's decor better, but I am not a big fan of Art deco, so I am biased.
I think they are both wonderful choices.

I would have to agree with the girls. It all depends on your style. I saw both and I ended up booking the Fox HOllow. It was more my style. I was able to taste the food while I was at both places. I loved the food at Fox HOllow. I did hear from other friends that they did not enjoy the food at Chateu. Maybe, they had a bad night. Good Luck

Re: Need advice..I'm new!
Congrats on your engagement.
I have been to both places many times as a guest and I love both of them. As everyone here is saying, it all depends on your taste. That's really the only difference between the 2.
Also, I was a Fox Hollow bride and I have nothing but incredible things to say about them. The reason I chose the FH over the CB was location, it was a little closer to the church, and because the grounds are much nicer. If you want any more info, please feel free to FM me. I'll be more than happy to tell you about my experiences with the FH.

Congrats on your engagement. We are getting married at the Fox Hollow and I have heard nothing but great things about the place. I've been to a wedding at the CB and it was wonderful there too. Good Luck

Congrats and welcome!
My cousin just had her wedding at CB and it was an awesome time! I've passed by Fox Hollow and I think that would be more my style but both have rave reviews!

Re: Need advice..I'm new!
I had my wedding at Fox Hollow. I loved everything about it, the food, the decor, the grounds. I have no complaints. I also looked at Chateau Briand. I think its beautiful. I really like the Art Deco style but its not for everyone. My mother and DH both thought it was too dark. It is on a busy street and doesn't have grounds but that is not important to everyone. Fox Hollow was just more my style but they were my 2 top choices. My brother just booked Chateau Briand for his wedding next year. I'm sure it will be terrific, the Scottos throw a great wedding. You can't go wrong with either one.
