Need advice...I'm so ashamed

Original post by Future Mrs.

I am getting married in 5 days and I just woke up and feel HORRIBLE ABOUT SOMETHING. I finished doing my programs; and I was just going through them; I included my future sister in law in NOTHING.
When I first got engaged, I didn't even want a BP, but as time went on my 2 closest friends (10+ yrs) were helping me a lot. So I asked them to be in my wedding, and of course they are in my program.
My SIL is my FH brother's wife. FH brother is the BM. THere are no groomsmen.
Truth is, I hardly know them. I've been w/ FH 2+ yrs, and I have only met his bro and wife twice (the don't live anywhere near us)
BUt this is terrible!!!!!! How could I do this???? WIll this destroy our relationship forever? Please advise.

Thanks you guys!!!! I feel so much better right now b/c of all of your advice.
I was sort of feeling like I should have somehow included her in my wedding.....but I really have no relationship with her. Hopefully that will change throughout the years, but right now I just don't have it.
I feel so much better from what you all said....thanks!

I think you will be fine! Maybe you could ask her to do something at the reception, like read a poem to set the mood of your wedding.

You are being silly! If you barely know her then why stress it?! Relax, if you don't have a relationship with her to destroy then what are you worried about? Did you include other people in the program that are not involved in the wedding? If you are that concerned you can always do an insert OR create a nice looking label and stick it somewhere on the program.

I say just let it be. Forget about it! You can always pass it through your FMIL if you are really that concerned but just be aware that the more people you tell the more attention you may draw to something that is NOT an issue!

Go take some good deep cleansing breaths! It's all good!

There is no use in beating yourself up! Enjoy yourself and don't sweat this stuff! It will all work out in the end - don't worry
