G-d Bless you and your family. Let's hope your mother gets the best treatment possible and has little if any pain or discomfort has she heals. Trust in me when I say prayers work. I know how you feel.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. FI was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the end of Oct. 2004 and had surgeries- 1 in Nov. and 1 in Dec. Luckily, he had a warning (sharp pain) and I convinced him to go to the emergency room. Catching it early is of the utmost importance! I hope that your mother's surgeon is skilled and will be able to help her make a full recovery. I know it's hard but make sure you take care of your needs during this time as well. Chrissy, I know it is a very scary time...My mom & I are very close too & when she was rushed to the hospital 2 years ago with VERY high blood pressure, I was in such a state of shock & aw....My prayers are with you Tons of don't do it enough....Your mom is a strong cookie & with your support, she will pull through it with no problem...It is a good thing to have caught it in the early stages....You need to be strong for your family...if you ever need to talk, FM me

Thank you guys for all the support! It's been a very stressfull weekend, trying to tell the family & all, that i couldnt really think straight.......But i hear from my best friend that its a curable cancer, my friend had it when she was 27 & gives us hope that catching this early that she will make a speedy recovery!
