Im very sorry to hear your news....My thought and prayers are with you.

My mother had the same cancer about 7 years ago...it took a lot of strength to get through it...but i KNOW you and your family will be able to do it. If you need anything...DONT HESITATE TO ASK THE LI WEDDING GIRLS!

If it's any consolation, one of my closest friends was diagnosed with thyroid cancer almost 3 years ago when she was 32 (they actually found it when she was in the hospital delivering her 4th child). After about a year of surgeries and treatments, she's fully recovered. Since that experience, I've found that it's quite common, and very treatable. There certainly is no 'good' cancer - but hopefully it helps to give you an optimistic outlook.

Well it was a long day @ the surg's office with my mom, but they dec to take out the whole thyroid to be safe, sometimes cancer cells re appear & the safest thing was to sched the surgery & radiation treatment, we have along road but thank GOD it's an early catch.............

ohhh she didnt get the surg yet, we sched it for 2 weeks from now. But the new doc was very helpful & was highly reccomended. He said for me & my sis to get bloodwork on our thyroids cuz we could end up with this as well. So now i have to make sure i go to get things checked out....

Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Mom my is very very nervous about the radiation treatments, she has 2 be isolated in the hosp for a few days, this is a few weeks after the surg....
