So we decided on champagne glasses, probably filled with Lindor truffles (Im eating some right now )... Now Im debating how to display the glasses... I have the option of ordering them with gift boxes, should I keep them in the boxes on the tables and decorate the box, display the glass infront of the box and maybe use them during the toasts, or skip the gift boxes all together?
The other debate we're having is whether or not to imprint our names and date on them, or to just use a hangtag around the stem for those who arent crazy about personalized favors...
That is a good point. If you personalize them everyone will know for sure they are the favors. If you don't personalized them and put candy in them people will know also.

I agree with the other girls.. make sure the guests know they are the favors and not the RH's champange glasses

I personally don' tlike personalized glassware bc i'll never use it again, but I think the idea is cute and the chocolates are a great idea, I would put a hang tag on them.
I wouldn't display the boxes, but I would have them near the exit so people can still bring it home safely.

yea i def agree..i didnt even think about guest not realizing they are the favor....i think the champaine glass is an adorable idea...i also am not a fan of the personalization but candy is cute!

definitely if you want people to use them again, I wouldn't personalize it....and definitely have the boxes near the door so people can get them home in one piece!

Thanks Ladies! More than likely I wont personalize the actual glasses, but place a hang tag with our names and wedding date on them, and put the truffles in the glasses and keep the boxes handy. Funny thing is, the glasses cost more BLANK than they do with our names! Lol.

Good point!! I also think you should personalize them because thats what favors are for. They can keep them and look back and say it was from your wedding. I dont think you should use them for the toast since thats what your RH is for, they provide the glasses !! HTH

I agree w/ the above; I wouldn't display them as it may be confusing for guests. I would just have them wrapped by the door!

I got married in Oct. For our favors, I used wine glasses (from dollar tree), with m&m's inside. I used shredded mylar as filler in the glass and I used hanging favor tags (diy). I had them set at each place setting on the table when guests arrived. No confusion, people knew they were favors. As a side note, I have been to several of our guests homes since the wedding and they are using the glasses. I did one per person so that a couple would have 2.

FH and I are doing champagne flutes too! I like the idea of imprinting them, but we have had such a hard time deciding what to put on them!
I have thought of just putting a tag on them... like a wine charm type of thing.. or a ribbon just to make them actually look like favors. If you use them for the toast, then it might be difficult to clean them after for people to take home. Although it's a good scent, being pulled over with the smell of champagne in the car might not be good...
Either way to do it, I love the idea. Discountmugs.com just had a coupon code for 25% off. Wait until they go on sale again and you can get them for an amazing price.

I know and they're still on sale but I can't buy them yet. Payday is next week and Im tempted!! Lol. I don't know why they're cheaper with personalization! Im looking at hang tags to hang on the stem instead of this.
