Please -- thanks. Was going to go to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa but they are kind of booked up for Saturday due to the Jim Hjelm trunk show. Already tried Princess Bridals and Lidia's.....

How about Valentina's in Brooklyn? They are wonderful!! Each BM gets 10% off the ticket price and free alternations on their gown.

Re: Need Bridal Shop recommendations for BM gown shopping!
Well for SHOPPING and trying on dresses we went to the Wedding center in Commack.. they have ton of dresses on hand. We found what we wanted, now we can go find another place to buy it at. It was nice to SEE what they look like ON the girls as opposed to just imagining it.Bring water!! I sat and made my SIL try on 15 gowns. I handed her water at one point. It's so stuffy in dressing rooms. She's so tiny they had to keep all those clips around to clip her up so I could see what it would really look like.
Good Luck!!

if you're looking to just get ideas and try out different styles on the girls, then DAVIDS is good too, because they basically leave you alone & you can just grab stuff off the racks and have them try it on in different colors, styles & sizes.

I second the Commack Wedding Center. The service there isn't great, actually it's pretty non-existant, but they have the biggest selection of dresses I've seen. I'm not sure if you can even make an appointment, the few times I've gone, we've just kind of wandered in.

ditto .. no appt.
We just walked in and sat down.. someone said would you like to see the books..
Anything with a STAR is in stock to try on..
So we made this really long list.. thinking we'd try a few on at a time.. then asked the lady 'Can we try some of these dresses on?' She took the whole list and started to find them and pull them for us.. ALL OF THEM!! we were shocked. Service is ify but not terrible.. but GREAT selection for viewing.
