Need Bridal Shower Location (HELP)

Can anyone please give me some suggestions on a nice place to have a bridal shower? We were hoping to find a restaurant in Nassau Long Island that is reasonable in price for about 30 people?

Piccolo's in Bellmore
Violetta's in Merrick
Pastrami King in Merrick (more informal but nice room and good food)

Thanks! I have eaten at Violetta's I never really noticed the upstairs before. I wonder if Baci's on Old Country Road also had a private room for parties.

sergios in massapequa! i just booked my sisters's baby shower there. they only charge $16.95/p.p. and it includes soup or salad 8 entree choices and pasta, cookies and unlimited soda and coffee.

I don't think Baci's has a private room at all--we tried to book a small party there once and they said no at the time.

There is also Umberto's on Jericho Tpke, which has an upstairs that is really nice and food is great. Also:

Thanks for the info about Baci! Definitely saved me the trip out there (I live in Queens).

Has anyone heard about the new Houlihan's rest. (next to the Mirage) on Merrick Ave? I was also thinking about Bertolucci's, the brick oven place.

I haven't been to the Houlihan's yet, but we go to Bertucci's often enough. I think they have a separate area they can kinda cordon off or something (or maybe even close off).

definitely try Sals Place on hicksville road in north massapequa - great prices very nice room and yummy food - my shower was there and so was my parents 25th anniversary party

Try singletons in bethpage. We had our engagement party there and it was great - they have a few different rooms for various sizes!

I've been to Houlihan's and they do have an area in the back that they would probably use but the few times I've been there I haven't been totally crazy about the food. JMO.

La Piazza in Merrick also has a nice room.

I would recommend Sergios (Massapequa), Singletons (Bethpage) and the Maine Maid Inn (Jericho)...all great places.

Thanks again for the location help. I am also concerned a few people will not come because they live in either Brooklyn or Manhattan. I will check these locations out tomorrow!
