Need Ceremony Help

Hi Ladies,

I'm looking for a ceremony location preferably close to Jericho Terrace. I'm Protestant and my FH is barely Catholic. We have the option of having our ceremony at Jericho Terrace, but I feel like I might miss having it in a church, and walking out and having everyone through birdseed, etc.

Do any of you know churches that would be open to having an 'inter-faith' ceremony? I checked out the Historical Chapel in Woodbury and wanted to run out...it was horrible!! Am i just being silly by not having it at JT?

Also, does anyone know of a good oficiant that isn't overly religious?

Thanks for all the help!

I wish you all the luck in the world with that. FH and I would've liked the same thing.

We ended up booking a ceremony at JT. However, there are no rehearsals there until the day of the wedding, and now I am sweating it!

Try looking for a Unitarian Universalist church. Are either of you eligible to use a campus chapel through a college or something?

We used Rev. Dr. Angela Heil, she's FABULOUS. She hit just the right notes for us, not preachy, but not informal. Click here for her website.

Re: Need Ceremony Help

Thank you ladies for your suggestions.

I'm trying for the Community Chuch in Williston and I've left 3 messages total for the wedding coordinator. She called back once and I missed her that one time and I called back two more times and nothing. I guess I should probably not go with them huh? I'm going to contact the Unitarian church in Garden ity and see what they tell me.

I'm thinking that I will end up having my Ceremony in the Skylight room at JT. It's a gorgeous room. We'll see.

Thanks!
