Need Computer Audio Assistance

Have Harman Kardon desktop speakers with bass subwoofer

We had other Yamaha speakers for a while while lived at Jim's house, mine stayed in a box.

Now the problem

The sound is off (as in not right)
I hear the music fine. PERFECTLY but the vocals are 'weak'

any suggestions?

Bass is fine (feel it working) Treble and Bass settings are neutral. Computer audio (speaker icon) are neutral, changed optional audio to rock to get CLOSE to sounding ok.. still not happy.

Device Manager indicates the computer is recongizing the speakers just fine. perhaps driver? though I doubt it.

Depending on your audio driver, you may be able to select what kind of audio setup to have - 2 speakers, 4 speakers, sub-woofer, etc. I would look at the driver/audio software that came with the computer.
