We tried dancing to our song last night... Words can't describe how funny it was. We SUCK!! I love to dance, he doesn't. We're thinking we need lessons or a video or something... Have any of you taken lessons? Any Suggestions for instructors in Suffolk county?

This question has come up alot recently. Are you looking to have someone choreograph the dance or are you looking to learn different dances? Some posted on here that they had already taken lesson and recommended their studio. You should do a search. Also, in Sunday's newsday there was a listing for adult ed courses being given all over LI. It included dance classes at local schools and colleges. Let me know if that is the type of thing you are looking for and I'll give you more info. It's too much to list!

We just got back from our lesson. Jen, we actually added another move, it's like a grapevine, and we did really well tonight. I am so excited. We just need to polish it and work on the form and the timing.

You mean not inviting everyone else up?
I think so. I mean we spent so much time and spent the $$ for lessons, I kinda want to do the whole song. KNow what I mean? But I am not 100% positive yet.
We have practice the walking onto the floor to the last move we learned to tonight. It takes over 2 minutes. I think the song is a little over 3 minutes. Kristen kept the CD tonight to work on the timing of everything for next week.
Are doing it by yourselves?

We were going to do it all by ourselves...I even insisted at the beginning...BUT we are about 1/2 through the song now and i am really nervous that adding more steps would lead to a mistake. So we might be doing only half..I haven't decided 100% yet...I guess i am going to wait and see how we do...We video taped it last time and it looks sooo cute. I was surprised!!!

But most of the time Kristen sides with me.
One time he bodyslamed me to make me step back and Kristen yelled at him.

They just started going last week. Actually last week, you were there before Phil and I, then they came after Phil and I.
