My girlfriend is looking for a very specific three stone ring in a platinum band. Where would be some reputable jewlers that I could browse what they have and does anyone know if they could custom make the band for me??

Have you tried TRI-COUNTY jewlers?? Its a good place to start looking since there are SO MANY jewlers all in one place!

Fortunoffs -- but they are about 30% more expensive than a custom jeweler. You can go there, pick out the ring, and have it made -- that's what we did and saved about $8,000. Jeff Cooper has some beautiful platinum rings. Bailey, Banks & Biddle at Roosevelt Field is another great jeweler. Tiffany too, but again, pick something out, then get it custom made on 47th Street in Manhattan.

On Hempstead Tpke? Yeah, I tried them - although I only looked at what they had and din't really probe very deeply.

And make sure the jeweler is reputable, and can give you the AGI certificate!!! Go for QUALITY, the 3 Cs.....

My e-ring was custom made at http://www.normanlandsberg.com They are great and very reputable, on 47th street in NYC, good luck...

My ring was custom made at Christian Bernard at Roosevelt Field, and it's GORGEOUS. They know me by name in there, even though my FH bought the ring. They are REALLY nice people.

What do you mean by 'specific'? Does she have a particular brand in mind or just a style? Try these two websites and see if you find the ring. Both offer platinum. My jeweler offers both lines if your interested.
there are two wondeful jewelers at tri county that i use. they have the best selection and have always given me what i want.
gabriel jewelers and romantic jewelers.
i have a three stone setting, round center with pears on each side. i got that at gabriel.

I recommend Commack Jewelry exchange. I have gotten so many compliments on the way my ring shines. I mean it is not a huge ring but i personally think quality is better than quantity.
