Went looking for a dress this weekend for the first time; I found some that I really liked but I never got that “THIS IS THE DRESS” feeling. Anyhow- I fell- yeah- I tripped over the dress and hit the floor. My mother thinks it was a sign from my aunt who just passed telling me that was the dress. And so does everyone else I talk to. I thought it was a bad luck dress or that I was just a klutz- but now I am confused....
What do you all think?

that sounds like something my mom would say too and who knows if its true, right?
I think you should shop around some more and try on lots more! Then you will know if thats THE dress or not! If it is then there is no hurt in trying on others you will go back to it!

Maybe it is a sign. I think sometimes we feel like there's a feeling your supposed to get when you make decisions for you wedding, especially the dress, and when we don't get that initial reaction, we feel like it isn't the right one. Sometimes those feeling come from somewhere else. If it were me, I would go back & try it again. It could have been that it was your first time shopping, nerves, stress, ect. that you were hesitant about making the decision, especially if you didn't feel like you got the 'this one' feeling. See how you feel the 2nd time around- if you still aren't sure, maybe it was a coincidence. Or maybe it was a sign that it wasn't the right one... to keep looking. HTH- I know you will find a gorgeous dressthat is special to you for your wedding day!

It could be a sign!!! But what I would do is shop around and try on a bunch of different dresses. See if you get that 'feeling' from any other dress..and if you don't then try this dress on again and see if you like it more than the others and/or get the 'feeling.' Sometimes you may not get the feeling the first time..this happened to me when looking at RHs. I got the 'feeling' the second time I was there and knew it was the place I wanted to have my reception. The first time I loved it, but didn't get the feeling. So I would definitely try the dress on again..but wait until after you try on a bunch of other dresses. HTH!
