We are having a cooking/baking theme. I was thinking a spoon rest (the ones you put by the stove). But this was originally an idea I had for my shower so I dont want her to think we are 'copping' out and just using the idea for hers.
So we need something useful, cheap, and cookig or baking oriented!!!

cookie cutters are always cute, and they come in so many different designs. I did butterfly cookie cutters for my friends shower a few years ago and it came attached to a card with a cute saying and a cookie recipe

I'm crashing (sorry) but I once saw this and loved it. It was a basket of all different kitchen utensils as each table's centerpiece... each guest took one. If you dont have a garlic press, take a garlic press. If you need a new wooden spoon, take a wooden spoon. I thought it was such a good idea because there's a choice involved.

Homegoods has ADORABLE vintage looking cans in all different pastel colors. You can totally mix in some gerbers with wooden spoons, spatula's etc. Hang a little personalized tag on each of the kitchen tools and voila!!!
lol i was going to say an easy bake oven!! lol i love those things..but that would be kind of weird..how about cookie cutters? or maybe a small bake set with a recipe? if you could find one for a good price
