Ok, we are getting ready to pick a solid firm date and the reception site. I have been to (literally) 8 different reception halls all over LI. I fell in love with Leonard's when I went inside and saw the room. Honest to goodness, I was hesitant to go b/c to me I always thought it was a 'wedding-factory'. The room I was shown for CH and reception were on the main floor, which comforted me. Also the gentleman (Maurizio) I met with said they stager the start of CH's and receptions so you don't run into another bride or party. Can anyone give feedback on that aspect?
Also, I have looked over a few other posts on feedback and how most of you who had your wedding there only chose 1 station for the CH. I selected 3 stations, in addition to the regular CH. Is that going to be too much? Would do regular dinner menu. We have not signed a contract or any thing yet.
Lastly, ANY feedback on Leonard's overall would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!!
And keep fingers crossed that the church will be available on the date we choose, it's going to 2006, so whould not be a problem!

I honestly cannot recall. I love that picture. I love the way the put the table up on a 'stage'. I don't think it was that room ( I could be wrong), I don't remember seeing the mirrors.

I know that the rooms upstairs can hold I think between 300-400. So if you are going to have 100-125, they might not want to give you that room b/c they could book it to a bigger party, (some rooms do have partitions) so maybe when you are close to the date you pick if its available you can switch.
Also it seems that you want to get married in July and that could be a popular month, so they are hoping to get a larger crowd for the bigger rooms.
The room they showed you near the elevator is beautiful. I was thinking of having my ceremony there and thats the room it would have been in.
