need florist help

I want to set up meetings with a few florists... what questions should I be asking them when I meet with them?

how much per CP?
how many roses in bo-ks?
can they decorate cake?
what will be in the dias?

FH and I didn't ask many questions at all... we just went along with the flow of things...

most importantly is the amount of flowers, an estimated size of the bo-k.. I kno a lot of girls that went with a florist because they were promised a large Bo-k and got a really small one....

I went to the florists with a color scheme and budget in mind and then worked out what was available.

Ask what they're going to use as a filler and how much of it they'll use. I was really pissed after my engagement party when my florist promised me all these flowers and it was mostly leaves. I wasn't cheap either. We paid good money and I know I could have used a million other people who would have done a muche better job for a lot less $$. I would def have a sample made. It's worth the extra $.
Also ask to see the ribon they'll use for the corsages and bout's. Ask how many roses you're getting in each corsage. I had them all remade by someone else the day of my party because they were so cheesey- and the wrong color, and there were not enough (she forgot to make two). She even forgot the centerpiece for OUR table.
