still upset at mom for telling her to return the first gift which i would have liked, then inviting her to drop it off when fh isnt here knowing that fiance wanted to ok the gift...

I think you should let your mom handle it. She told her to return the glasses, why can't she do the same with the comforter?
I would want to pick out my own.

sunny... i know, thats why im frustrated, cause i would have been happy with the glasses...
marcella... good idea(id love to have a guest room), but the extra bedrooms were going to use for other things until there are children to occuppy them

honestly, why should you have something you don't like. lol let your mom handle it.. do you have a registry? why not have your mom have her get you something from there?

i have a registry.. and everyone knows about it, but noone buys off of it... i dunno i guess im feeling guilty cause i love every gift i get, but this was one thing that i wanted to pick out myself.. my fiance had a suggestion that maybe it could be the backup comforter.. like when the first one gets washed, that one can be used.. but i would feel guilty putting a gift in the closet knowing it would be used only a few days of the year

did oyu see it yet? maybe if you find out where she bought it you can return it...or you can tell her you heard about these 'great' glasses on tv or in the store and were really hoping she could buy them for you (ie - the glasses she had already returned!) and this way in your home, you woul dalways think of her every time you served someone with them????

ok so she brought the comforter set over... I LOVE it... it was described incorrectly.. its actually gold with rope edging, a swirl pattern on one side, and stripe pattern on the other.... totally what i wanted.. but fiance doesnt like it... he prefers navy blue he said ... which i would hate.... so now i have a comforter i love and fiance who doesnt want to use it
