Need Good Contume Ideas.....

Hubby and I have been invited to a Halloween party. Im not big into dressing up, but was wondering if anyone had some cool ideas that Jay and I can go as a couple.

Patrick and I did Britney Spears and Eminem 2 years ago. It was really funny and fun to wear!
My friends went as static cling one year. They wore black from head to toe, safety pinned socks, bras, and things to their clothes, and velcroed themselves together. It was a hysterrical 'concept' costume! Oh, and last year there was a couple at the party I went to who had the best costume EVER! The man dressed up as a street corner (complete with WALK/DON'T WALK sign!), and his wife was a hooker who leaned on him all night. It was great!
Whatever you decide to be, don't forget to take pictures to show us!

hmm, I'm in need of some ideas myself. But we have had a bunch of themes in the last couple years.

I was a girl scout brownie (you can order the actual uniforms on their site - its amazing but 5 of us found sizes that fit. They allow for some pretty big 8 year olds! though our skirts were significantly shorter than they would have been on the girls). Jay could be a boyscout or a cookie. Making the sashes was tons of fun (we ordered patches).

Alice in Wonderland and the mad hatter (hare).

Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, or Captain Hook, or Princess Tigerlilly.

I am a HUGE Halloween fan!! I love to make my costumes...I pride myself on NEVER buying them (yes, I'm a big geek)...

Unfortunately, my FH hates to dress as 'couples' - he thinks it's cheesy, but I beg to differ! I finally got him to do it about 5 years ago. We went as Fred and Wilma...it was really easy to make, even if you can't sew well, like me!! I even made my necklace out of little styrofoam balls from the craft store that I strung together. Please excuse how geeky we look - my hair is spray painted orange and he has a pillow in his belly!!

I found such a cute costume at the party store Marilyn Monroe's white dress. Kevin Auccoine(sp?) has a book out that he did Lisa Marie Presely as Marilyn Monroe and he explains how he did each feature, so my SIL is going to have a little fun, now I am trying to convince my FH to be James Dean, Elvis, or Joe Dimaggio but he wants to be a Jedi.. Oh well I will let you know how it turns out..

I was wonderwoman one halloween and I couldn't believe how skimpy the costumes were for her in the store...so I made one...

I bought blue and red fabric...and really just made tubes...one for the skirt and one for the top...then on the blue bottoms I ironed on stars

I bought clothes line for the magic lasso and bought think gold ribbon to use as wristbands and a headband...
