Need hair help!

So I have our Eparty a week from Sunday- I finally found the PERFECT dress-- it's matte black- think Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast @ Tiffany's- I'm having it fitted so it is going to be amazing... as the seamstress was pinning the straps I twisted my hair up to be out of her way- to everyone was like- OH MY GOD you have to wear your hair up! It's the perfect combo.. sophisticated- classic- a black pump- it completes the ensemble. So here's my question... what do you think about a french twist? With the speewing bang to the side?I know it's kinda old fashioned- but I want it to look classic- I dont want curls or anything- I don't really want to look like I got it professionally done-- not a ton of hairspray or anything- it's a cocktail party so there will be no dancing or anything- nice & soft-- what do you think?
