Need hair help - setting lotions?

Need hair help - setting lotions?

I think for the holidays I want to play around with putting waves in my hair with a curling iron. The magazines say to use a setting lotion - any suggestions on which one?

I have had trouble finding them in dsrug stores. my mom use to use soemthign ancient in a pink bottle when I was a kid that I loved. I recently bought a Nexxus one, but It spilled befor eI got a chance to ty it with curlers. I used for blow drying a few times though & I liked it-- it made my hair very smooth.
