Need Headpiece Advice-FINALLY UPDATED W/ PICS AND POLL!!!!

Ok so I'm really torn between 2 headpieces....the first one I tried on with my dress when I bought it and I LOVED it...I just found it online for $76! of course then I found out about Thomas Knoell.....I'M SUCH A SUCKER!!! LOL

I FELL IN LOVE!!! There's a piece there called 'Elegance' that I saw in his showroom and its unbelievable. Get this- he knows my dress designer personally. They're very good friends! My dress is made by Kelly Chase Couture- a very small husband and wife team that are exclusive to Lilette's- so he picked the perfect peice to go with my dress. Its a little diff then the one that he has posted online. There's light topaz stones in this one and pearls in the center instead of crystals. I really love it and its so well made....i fell like you can tell the quality.

OK so here are the 2 pieces...please help....the Thomas Knoell piece is almost $400....things are dear and i need to start actually working within my budget....which one should i go with...

I'm very torn as well. You know how I REALLY feel- if you want the knoell, buy it.

But as far as the $- you should get the lillettes piece. $76 is nothing, and you originally LOVED it. I think it goes perfectly with your dress too, simple, but enough to make a statement.

I like the Crystal headband.... I LOVE Thomas' stuff - but I cannot spend that type of money personally on something i'm going to wear on my head for 8 hours...

I really like the headband and so did you...so stop looking at other stuff!

i think the thomas knoell one is gorgeous but i love his work. but i also think the other one is gorgeous as well. and i looked at your dress and i kinda think the other one goes better since it doesnt look like it has those goldish colors in your dress (i may be wrong but TK one looks like it has a little bronze or gold in the headpiece).

But i say go with your gut....

yeah true...it does have a little bit of other tones in it, but my 'something old' is my grandmother's pearl bracelet and there's pearls in the piece....i though it might help tie it together...IDK....i do agree that the other piece complements the dress well though...

Thanks Bonnie...yea I'm still undecided but I think I'm leaning more toward the crystal one myself...if it wasn't as much of a price difference it would be better but its just soooooooooo expensive

Well that's just the thing...I would pass it down through my family...I'm the oldest of 19 grandchildren on jsut my mom's side of the family and 13 of them are GIRLS! I jsut thought it would be a nice 'something borrowed' to pass around...i'm not sure if I could do that with the crystal one...

Oh! Well, then, if that is your intention, then spending $400 is way more reasonable, and it would definitely be something REALLY NICE to have as a 'something borrowed'!!!
