I just found out that my hall doesnt like to have runners outside because they think that people can trip on them, so I will have to be walking along grass. My idea was to have my MOH carry my train so it doesnt get dirty, but arent we still going to be sinking into the grass and getting our heels caught? Any ideas?

Can you put a platform walkway down? sort of like what they use for dance floors?

I say Home depot but call your hall first. they may either a) say NO! or b) already have something like there or know where to get it. If you can get it yourself... just get chip board from home depot and paint it white... you can even sponge it with 2-3 different whites to give it texture and make it look less 'cheap'
