Need help~

We live in Indiana and plan to elope in New York. My fiancee and I have never been to New York and are having a hard time finding wedding services for the two of us. We hope to marry in New York City, and are looking for someone who is able to marry us and possibly offer a small wedding package:pictures and a video. The site is undetermined, so any suggestions would also be helpful. If anyone knows of a nice romantic hotel that they would recommended for a weekend in April, we would greatly appreciate it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Recently engaged~ Thank you!

One thing I can advise is that you need to get your marraige license a full 24 hours in advance. Our priest told us of one couple who got theirs the afternoon before a morning wedding and he couldn't marry them because it was not a full 24 hours, so be sure to take that into account into your planning. I think in NYC you can get it at city hall downtown.

NYC Wedding

There are a lot of places to get married in NYC. Finding Clergy should not be a problem. It all depends on where you'd like to get married and how many people you are going to have at your wedding. If you want it to be just you and your fiance there are always lots of parks and famous landmark buildings to get married at like the empire state building and grand central station. As for hotels check out www.citysearch.com and click on New York to get info about hotels and vacations to the city.
