I have a few pictures on a DVD here w/me - is there anyway to copy and paste them into a .jpeg or .bmp file?
I already tried alt+print screen - but it doesn't work.

are they on a dvd or cd... if you saved them to a cd, you should be able to open up the CD and view the files as you would any document in a file and from there, right click the picture select save picture. Hope i helped and if i made sense.

if they are on a DVD, then they are formatted as a some sort of movie file (maybe mpeg) and most likely cannot be saved as a jpeg.
you can probably download a capture program that will save it as a still, but I don't know about quality.
can you save the slideshow file on to your computer from the dvd?

i tried that, and it doesn't work! booo hooo....
now i'm looking for a website that's like shutterfly for DVD's - I found youtube.com - but the file is too large.

yeah that's the stinky thing about getting a DVD...
how will you upload it if you can't save it to your computer?
