Ok So my fiance and I ordered our invitations and they are in. Well when we noticed the reception cards we noticed there was no time for the reception. It just said reception following ceromony. That is technically true but the reception is an hour and a half after the ceromony. I called the place I ordered it and sure enough we forgot to put the time. Well we dont want to pay another $40 to get new reception cards. Does anyone have any ideas of what we can do?

That stinks.....sorry to hear....how far is the reception from the ceremony site? maybe with travel time the gap won't be so wide. ask your hall how early your guests can arrive. My hall is prepared1/2 hour before start time to accomodate the early birds....the downside is what your guests don't attend the ceremony how will they know what time reception begins....It might be worth it to pay the $40 so you don't stress over it.... good luck

I am not really stressed. Here is what I was thinking inside the reception card attach a little piece of paper with the time and the directions.

Re: need help
I would order the new reception cards. The $40 isn't bad in the scheme of things for a piece of mind.

I agree with the others posters....$40 really isn't bad in the grand scheme of things and it will give you peace of mind

I agree. I think you should get the new cards. This way everythin gmatches. And people know exactly what time it is.

I also agree with the others. I'd pay the $40 to get new cards printed. It will give you peace of mind and you won't have to worry about making something new!

I too would spend the $40 to re-do them. I think that if you put it on the direction sheet it woudl get over looked and the last thing you need are lots of people calling you or your parents asking what the time is.

Re: need help
I would pay the extra money..you don't want your guests getting to the RH and having to wait outside or watching them clean up from a previous wedding or something. Also, you don't want to ruin your already expensive, coordinated invites with an unmatching slip of paper.
Good Luck!

Re: need help
try going to staples or office max or even ac moore and michaels...they have boxes of reception cards and you could do them yourself. to correct it. if not everyone else will be waiting there for the party to start!

Re: need help
I certainly dont want to pay the $40 really, So here is my idea since the reception cards are like the place cards typing something up and glueing it in the inside. If that doesnt work maybe I will change the reception cards.

Re: need help
bump Ok so here is my new idea. A friend told me that he could get some high glossy paper have the exact font we used and attach it to the inside of the reception card.
