Need Help!

Ok my Boss just came to me for a suggestion. One of her business associates is getting married next week and she was invited but not able to make it to the wedding. They are all from Chinese background and usually when you go to a wedding you give the couple money in a red envelope. Since she is not attending it is not right to send money. This couple does not have a registry because they don't do that either.

What are some gift ideas that you can send for this kind of situation that is not money?

I would say anything for the home should be appropriate. ( I think).

Re: Need Help!

'Double Happiness' is the Chinese symbol for love and marriage - tell her to look at redenvelope.com - they have a blanket and frame and other things with the double happiness chinese symbol.

taken off website: 'A classic Chinese wish for marital bliss, the double happiness symbol is formed by doubling the character for happiness. The result is a unique character used to wish newlyweds happiness in their new life together. We've placed this lucky symbol on a shiny cast-aluminum frame, perfect for holding a wedding, honeymoon or anniversary photo of the happy couple.'
