Re: Need help $......
ok as for flowers I would do candle centerpieces it will save you a ton of money and dont go overboard on the BM boq's
limos just get what you need dont get the fancy cars if you dont need them. I winded up getting a limo bus and it was $1200 I dont think that was alot to spend for the amount of hours we need so that is also an option.
DJ get a basic package with a good company!! depending on the amount of people you will have u may only need a dj/mc combo not both ya know?
thats all I can think of right now FM me for any info on my vendors HTH

for flowers def check out burtons, they had the cheapest price of all the florists i priced out. we cut out our bouts cuz the guys just didnt want them, we also didnt get a seperate CP for the dais table..i made sure the arrangements i would get for the ceremony could be moved to our table. i also didnt do all the other extras with flowers meaning no flowers fo rthe bathroom, place card table, cake, pew decorations, etc.
for veils i hear tri county is good but i also know many girls bought them from ebay and they were just as nice.
shoes...i would check a bunch of stores..sometimes you luck out and can find a great pair for super cheap at target or luv my shoes

For the shoes and veils, you can look to buy used. A lot of people on here on selling their items, I have some in my album, or Craig's list. Barron's in Tri County seemed to be the best price for veils if you want new. I paid $125 for mine. Flowers, go with the in season and carnations for the men, they are the cheapest. Limo stick with the basic 10 or 14 passenger, depending on the # of people in the party. For the BM gifts, look for sales and cap at $25pp. Black Fri has amazing deals, get them their gifts that day. I liked Craft shoes for their selection, but they were avg price-about $60. Did you get the other items for the day of-bra, slip etc? They can get costly too.

Re: Need help $......
We only needed limos for getting to and from the ceremony - the reception was at the same place. Primo Limo gave us a great price.
We got our flowers at Burtons, got low CPs, and IMO our flowers were nicer than friends that spent double. You could make your own CPs also. There's no rule they have to be flowers. Get creative with hurricane glasses and candles. One coworker is using a bowls of pumpkins or apples for her fall wedding.
Good luck!
eta: Got my veil and comb at Barrons Tri County, it was $140 instead of the hundreds of $$ I would've spent at BR. Pippy's Sweets did our programs, and they were far less expensive than I would've spent. I made my cake topper. Didn't do menus...

Avoid buying your veil from bridal salons. Use candles for centerpieces. Shop around for the best price.

Veil - Barrons at Tri County Flea Market
Flowers - low CP's, no boutenierres (sp?) they get crushed anyway, no church flowers (if not having a mass) or candle DIY cps
Limos - depending on how far everything is...you could have one limo pick up and drop off guys then go and get the girls
BP gifts - ebay!
Shoes - go cheap...NOONE sees them and I don't really care if I have a pro pic of my feet!

Re: Need help $......
For flowers, check out a local florist. That's what we are using and the price quote for the SAME thing was 1/3 the original quote of one of the top vendors on this site

Re: Need help $......
veil buy used or at barrons - I got my veil at the shop and it was over $200 its sitting in my closet and I can't seem to sell the damn thing IoI
Flowers: I don't know my flowers were amazing and they only cost $62.00 per table. Go with season flowers, low centerpieces (they are popular now so its great), opt for more candle then flowers (buy a case of votives wholesale and give it to your rh to decorate the tables) and it will look amazing!
Limo: pick up drop off? That is what we did but we lived five minutes away and we had free shuttle buses to the hotel so we hitched a ride with that at night. Why not party with your guests in the bus?
BP gifts: can't give great advice on this. I kept buying gifts over and over hated everything then found someone to custom make earrings and bracelets for them. Just stick with what you can afford per person we did $50 and my man of honor got $100 gift cert.

I love your Flower tip, I'm glad to hear that low CP's are more popular and I've seen such really nice low cp's. Also, your limo tip, We live 10 min from the church AND I don't really care to have my own car for that day, like you said, why not party with my guests??
