Okay, I am in the process of deciding whether or not to have a friend as a bridesmaid. I have been engaged for 8 months haven't ask her yet because we had a big 'fall out' a few weeks before my engagement. We have been slowly getting back to being good friends and I am going back and forth on whether or not to ask her. I am more leaning towards yes-because my other bridesmaid haven't been very excited for me at all and have done nothing to help me plan for the wedding. But this friend of mine has been there almost every step of the way. She is even having an Engagement BBQ for us since we did not have a party. Please give me some advice...

If she is exicted for you and is going all out for you (e-party) and has always been there for you then I think you should ask her if you want. You still have plenty of time to think about it, but it seems like you are such good friends that one big fight will not ruin that. I say GO FOR IT!!!!!! (JMO) Surround yourself with people who are happy for you. Best of Luck!!!!!!!

After reading what you just wrote about her and how she has been happy for you and what she is doing for your engagement. It sounds like you really want her there with you. I think you should have her.

I think you already made your decision. Since your wedding is a little more than 10 months away, you still have to time to include her in your bridal party. I say go for it!

she seems happy for you.. when you said she is throwing you an engagement party..she DEFINATELY sounds like she should be a BM... and sounds very excited for you!
