I purchased my dress from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. It is the first and only place I went. I was helped by Noreen who was A-MAZ-ING. Every dress that I tried on that I liked, she would suggest which veil and accessories would work, etc. They even had a little bouquet to give me to get the whole picture :) I ended up going with the first dress I tried on, I did not buy my veil yet and will decide later on what I want to do with that. What happened was I went there in February, found a dress, and she had me come back for the Trunk Show in late March, where I met the designer, tweaked some of the dress, and received 15% off on my purchase. It was an amazing experience, I highly recommend it!

Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and Village Bridal in Babylon. I haven't shopped yet but hear great things about both places, and they are in the same general area (about 20 min away) so it would be easiest to visit those two on the same day.

Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is amazing. I worked with Andrea and she was fantastic. I went back 3 times and she was so helpful each time. Great experience. Very personal, too. They carry Lazaro, Eve of Milady, Romona Keveza, Ines Di Santo...just to name a few!

I went to village bridal and salon at manhasset and loved them. I know other girls had good experience, but mine at bridal reflections at carle place was less than overwhelming. Village had the most selection I've seen on Long Island. If you end up deciding to go into manhattan, let me know, I've been to a bunch of salons there too!

I didn't have a very good experience at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, but it may have just been my consultant I did not like. The best customer service I received was from Paradise Bridal in Patchogue and ultimately got my dress from them.

of those I have only been to Bridal Reflections in massapequa & it was a great experience.

I have only been to Bridal Reflections Carle Place, but as a bridesmaid, as I have not started my own shopping yet. I can tell you however that I have made appointments for myself for next month at Village Bridal in Babylon and Bridal Suite of Bayshore! I have heard awesome things about them both!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Will be calling to see if I can set some appointments up!

Darn! All the places on the list are closed for Memorial Day except for one: Paradise Bridal. Made an appointment for that. I will have to find time to go another day for the others. Thanks again everyone for the feedback.

I went to Wedding Salon of Manhasset, BR in Carle Place, and Village Bridals. I ultimately ended up getting my dress at Wedding Salon of Manhasset but I had a great experience at all three places. I felt BR had the largest selection of dresses. Wedding Salon of Manhasset definitely does not have as much but the consultants really take the time to get to know you and your wedding so that they can pull the right dresses.
