NEED HELP Alterations for dress bought at Kleinfelds

I bought a dress off the rack at kleinfelds and since it was under 3,000 they do not do alterations there. They gave me a list of names I made an appointment with a lady and I just do not feel comfortable. I am wondering if anyone in Nassau county knows of anyone that will alter a wedding dress from another salon.
Preferably I would like to stay in Nassau for the work, I am in Long Beach and here isthe kicker..... My wedding is August 28th. PLEASE HELP

I'm in LB too

Bridal Reflections does alterations on BM dresses even if you didn't buy it there....so they might do it for bridal gowns too.

Also I heard of a fantastic tailor and dress maker (so she should really know her stuff) in Lynbrook. Never used her, but heard good stuff. It's right on sunrise hwy in lynbrook across from where white castle (maybe a block east of white castle) called European Tailor or something to that effect..good luck!

I am in LB too! I wish I knew of someone! I did look on the LIW vendor list and there is a vendor in Franklin Square- Alterations by Millie- that alters wedding gowns- maybe you could try them. Franklin Square is not too far from LB.
