Need help ASAP--DYI invitations---UPDATE

Hi;
I had my invitations printed by the print shop at my job and they came out beautiful , however...they are pocketfold invites and when I tried to put them together....with the layering...let's just say I was not the best at it I need someone to help me put them together. There are two layers and a ribbon. We are on a budget, so when we called print shops to see if they could do it for us---we almost fell back from the prices we were quoted. They wanted as much as a whole new invitation

Can anyone help me please?/????

So, here is my UPDATE!!! After much consideration and reading all the wonderful advice many of you provided me with, I decided to go ahead and try to glue the invitation onto the invitation mat myself. Initially my chat topic was posted because I was having problems with layering the invitation onto the invitation mats and having them perfectly centered.

I can proudly announced that I finished gluing all 100 invitations onto the invitation mats. I 'eyeballed' everything and they came out great. Believe it or not they are perfectly centered. I was amazed!! I just needed patience (lots of it : ) and of course lots of guidance from all of you who helped.

I have been using the Scotch---Quick dry adhesive recommended to me by Paper presentation staff in the city. I was told by the staff such glue is what they use themselves when gluing invitations. I must say that is not messy and it works wonders. YAY!!!

I will use the glue dots for the ribbon as many of you suggested. I will go tomorrow and buy them.
I still have to glue the invitation mat onto the pocketfold, but I am so proud of the job I did that I had to keep you updated.

Once again, thank you all for your wonderful imput. I guess I just 'freaked out' yesterday. YOu are all the best!!!!

What about your bridesmaids? Someone has to be crafty.

I only have a matron of honor (who lives in North Carolina), a maid of honor (my 11 year old daughter), and one bridesmaid (on vacation for two weeks and not crafty at all).

How were you able to center and layer yours? What glue did you use? I went to paper presentations in the city and they told me they use 'Quick Dry adhesive'--Scotch. I think is a good glue and seems to do the job. My problem is to center the layers (I have two) and a ribbon similar to yours but without the rhinestones. I have a problem with the glue and the satin ribbon. Which glue did you use with the satin ribbon?

I used double stick tape and 'eye balled' the centering.
Nobody is going to notice if they are perfectly centered or not...
mine are in my album.
Good Luck!

you need the tape runners, they're in the scrapbooking sections of ac moore or michaels. They look like this

tape runner

The first few I did were a little crooked but you get used to the size of the paper and learn to center them. Your guests won't taking out their measuring tape to make sure you did it evenly. You can do it! Good luck

we used this double stick tape as well.
after you do a few you definitely can eye ball it.

They are not done yet : ) Everything is printed and cut, but I still have to stuff them and glue the ribbon and the rest onto the pocketfold. I will be honest and let you know that it takes a lot of patience and it is definetely a labor of love. I will post them when they are done
