My dress is ivory-ish...they call it ivory over oyster...its a different color...but i was thinking of putting the boys in gray suits...lighter gray, not charcoal.....will this go?

Gray is awesome. You could do an ecru shirt if you wanted, but I dont think it matters too much.
Put him in ivory on ivoty anf the gm in ivory with a purple tie. Thatd be ok? You're the best BTG
I personally would not put the groom in ivory on ivory. In fact, I'd probably put him in a white shirt with either an ivory/cream tie or a white shirt with a tie that uses silvers and blacks.
I love purple and gray together so i think that's good for the groomsmen, however I'd go with white shirts. Also, I'm really not a fan of the matchy-matchy look, so depending on what the style and color of dress your girls are wearing, i'd be happy to suggest a tie that compliments them.

Haha, nahh, not in the fashion industry. I'm a lawyer who got married earlier in the year and just take a liking to dressing well.
You must be the best dressed lawyer in court!!!!!!!!
