NEED HELP!! can someone please bump... updated w story

the thread that lists where everyone is getting married and their dates?!

i'm no longer getting married at the beach club estate!! and i need to find out which halls are already booked on my date for sure so i can mark them off the list of halls to call. i'm totally freaking...

****ok here's the story...

the beach club was supposed to renovate...they still don't know whether they will be able to or not. they will start renovating asap...so if they can't start until april but at that point they get approval, they'll start in april and if i'm still booked there, it'll be a construction site day of my wedding.

so the owner of beach club and windows is willing to change my date and give me a wedding at windows w no extra charge. but i don't want to change my date since it's so close now and all my vendors are booked. he told me he will give me a full refund if i want to book somewhere else so i am hoping we can find somewhere else that is still available for my date. but i'm freaking out b/c i doubt anywhere is still going to be available for memorial day weekend.

i just want to cry. this is like a nightmare.

OMG how horrible..thats f*cked up on their part that they didnt inform everyone!!!

I think you should just call around to as many places as you can. See what you come up with. You never know, you just might get a place to accomodate you.

That stinks i'm really sorry

you're going to be fine! I'm not going to stay don't stress but I would be freaking too, but this will all work out. I 100 % recommend the milleridge, it's not a beachy feel or anything but what I liked about it was the victorian feel, not sure if you're into that sort of thing. At this point, there may not be many openings at the RH's so you should just call around all the RH's you hear about on this board and ask about your date. If you want to give me a list of RH's your interested in I'd be happy to help you out and call to see who has your date available

how many people do you have? try looking at halls that aren't your typical wedding place if it comes down to it. that's where i looked for my wedding in the first place, so i can offer you some suggestions if you want.

jess you are so unbelievably sweet. i would totally take you up on it but my SIL just offered to do it for me and since she's a BM, it's totally within her duties. but thank you SO much for offering...that was the nicest thing ever.

thanks...i hope i can find something...i really don't want to have to change my date and risk losing any of my vendors...which is why i started booking vendors over a YEAR ago...i never thought this could happen...
