So, I can't find the book that we get at precana that basically outlines everything for you. I am trying to make my programs except I have no clue what the order is for a Catholic Ceremony (NOT a full mass).
Can someone please give me the order (including both the songs and speaking parts).
I know you start with the processional, but that's all I know.
Please HELP!!!

This is correct.... although it's not typically called 'Gathering Rites' you can call it the Prelude.... or leave it out entirely...however, most people have some music playing as people come in. 'Welcome and Greeting' is not a technical part of the Nuptial Mass. the priest or deacon will welcome everyone, but that's usually considered part of the 'Opening Prayer.' 'Candle Lighting Ceremony' is OPTIONAL!!!! It is NOT technically part of a catholic ceremony, but most people do it..... most call this part 'Lighting of the Unity Candle' and/or a Presentation to the Blessed Mother would go here. Since you are only having a ceremony anything AFTER the Prayer of the Faithful is NOT included, as that is part of the Liturgy of the Eucharist, which only applies to a Mass. your last thing to put on your program for a ceremony is Final Blessing followed by Recessional.
