I met with Verbena Designs in Hicksville and Pedestals in Garden City Park on Saturdsay... Verbena Designs was cheaper.... but I think Rob at Pedestals had some really great ideas for my centerpieces... I am leaning towards Pedestals, thinking that even though it's $1,000 difference maybe there's a reason for it.... what are your thoughts ladies?
I thought maybe I should shop around more, but my friend that went with me thinks I need to book Rob now since he is in high demand... Not to mention I'm not at all decisive when it comes to flowers so I think throwing another florist in the mix might just confuse me more, lol...
Could I hear some of your opinions please?

I didn't use Rob but I did use Pedestals.....After I got a quote, I went back a second time and discussed my budget with them. They brought the price down without compromising the look I wanted. I would def go back and speak with them!

Wasn't a big fan of Pedestals - I found them to be a little bit snobby. Their work was beautiful, I just couldn't see myself working with the people I met with. I am using Flowers by Burton - their prices are great and their work is great, and the people are sooo nice.

Thanks very much... I did call Burton's -- but I couldn't seem to book an appointment with them until this upcoming weekend....
I will ask Pedestals if they can do better on the price...

I used Verbena Designs for my wedding.
Honestly, DH and I were blown away by the flowers on our wedding day.
Everything was perfect, exactly how we had discussed. I did not even had samples. We went from a picture. She captured it perfectly. So nice and professional too.
I HIGHLY recommend them.

Out of my 3 floral appointments, we only went to see 2 of them, and after that we knew Pedestals was the one to book and didnt really care to look at the others. They had a CP displayed that FH and I just loved , and the lady that was helping us knew exactly what we had in mind and what we wanted and was very helpful, not rushed at all, showed us a ton of pics and also threw a couple of things in.

My DH, MIL and I went to see both as well. We went with Verbena Designs. My DH and MIL both worked at a florist for many years, and they said that their work was comperable. The extra $1000 for pedistels goes toward the upkeep of the shop .
