we did one per family/couple. and had the hall place them on the table/plate.

We had a favor also (a little cermanic pumpkin tea light holder) so we did every other place setting.
I would still do every other...because at the end of the night, all the donation cards were still on the table. I was a little upset about seeing that, but I guess I understand
