I'm certainly not an expert, but I DO know that NOT eating is NOT good. It slows your metabloism way down. If you're not very hungry just have something light.

limiting your food intake is a big NO, NO! your body is doing the opposite of what you are trying to achieve - when you don't eat your body goes into starvation mode and retains everything you eat - the worse thing possible if you're trying to lose weight.

I agree with Lisa - your body needs a certain amount of nutrition everyday. The fact that you arent eating might be the reason why you arent losing any weight. You need a balance between your food intake and the exercise that you do.

If you want to loose weight you need to do a lot more that just walking!! Get to a gym and start a schedule and stick to it!

definately need your breakfast to start up your metabolism for the day..

6 cups of water a day( 48 oz)

You hit a plateau, so you need to do more to further challenge your body to burn more calories, different activity, different intensity, etc.

Also look at your diet

Hi spazybride04, the main thing now is NOT to get discouraged. 10 months is a lot of time to lose the weight you have gained. I lost 30 + lbs in less than 5 months by limited my carb intake and boosting my exercise.

Find a eating plan that suits your lifestyle and pick up the fitness magazine to get some good ideas of workout plans. If you like weight training 2 books that have great photos of training techniques are 'Body of Life' and 'Buff Brides'-- 'Buff Brides' is geared more towards an at home workout and 'Body for Life' shows examples using the machines in a gym!

I'm constitently looking at the fitness magazines for inspiration my favorites are 'Fitness' and 'Oxygen'...

Thanks ladies... i knew I could count on you girls for the right advice.. and let me just say that I had no idea that not eating was THAT bad... I knew it wasn't a good thing, but to think that i'm doing the opposite of what i thought i was doing.. holy cow!
well since 10 months is a lot of time, I better get cracking now... before the dress shopping.
Thanks again to all of you and I'll keep you posted.
Diet starts tomorrow.
