We are doing our ePics (finally) this month & I have no ideas- I am looking for something in Queens or Nassau- either a beach, park or garden-like area- but the catch is that I really dont want to have to pay a permit fee to do the pics- we are tapped out at the moment!
anyone have any ideas?

Morgan Park in Glen Cove - has beach and park in one. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there are any fees. Call and check. They might tell you that you have to be a resident, there are 2 entrances and I've never seen someone checking ID at both (rarely even at one).

Central Park!! It's not is Nassau or Queens, but sooo worth the extra trip. There are so many beautiful areas and you don't have to pay a fee. That's where we took ours - pics are in my album.

We did ours in Long Beach. You might have to pay $10 to get on the beach depending on the time you go.

Oh yeah, duh. I forgot about that. They are probably one of the most beautiful places. A lot of different areas.
Also, Planting Fields Arboretum is awesome. Like Old Westbury, it has a variety of places to take pics (mansion, gardens, sculptures)
I think they both have fees, but if you aren't in a wedding dress, they might not notice.
