I am about to leave my house to go get my teeth whitened. I am having it done at a Spa - do I need to tip for this? Obviously I wouldn't tip if my dentist was doing it, so I'm confused...

You are probably already gone, but I wouldn't tip. It's the same thing as having it done at a dentist's and I would bet the salon pays whoever does it better than the nails, massage folks .. don't you think? maybe not ... not really sure now!
