Ok I need some help! Can anyone recommend a really good DJ that will play only what we want and nothing cheesy! We are looking to only spend around $1,000 to $1500 on the DJ. I think my cousin used High Energy and they were pretty good from what I remember, but I'm open for any other suggestions too! Thanks!

Another bride on the board (davenjess) told me about DJGaza (Gary Hoffman). He is not cheesy and over the top. His website is DJGaza.com. I met with him and he is really nice.

I used kaplan productions for my engagement party, and i got complements about him months after the party. My 80 year old aunts that NEVER dance were on the dance floor all night! He charged $500 for my 4 hour engagement party and i also know him personally. hes very affordable and has really nice equipment. his website is www.kaplanproductions.biz. His wife is also into wedding planning and giving really good ideas. I'm using him for my wedding also.

Try Feel the Vibe. I just was at a wedding that they did. They were very good. I know my friends did not pay that much for them.

I booked Frank from FM Entertainment. Frank is awesome and his prices are soooo reasonable. I can also suggest Vinny from High Voltage. He's also highly recommended in LIW.
