do you gals know a good place to throw a party thats not too expensive for a saturday night for 100 people similar to restaurants used for engagement party type place thanks

What about a VFW hall or similar?
I just threw a surprise party for FH but at our house for about 50 people. So I dont realyl knwo any specific places.
Another suggestions is a bar - they usually are accomodating and on the cheaper side.

do not want vfw lookingfor a restaurant or catering hall thats not too expensive dont want to spend more than $50 a person. thanks

where were you interestred in having the party?? (nassau, suffolk, manhattan, boroughs??)

Pomodorino I keep recommending this place ever since we had my sisters shower there. The place has a 'grand ballroom' with a private entrance from the restuarant. There is a dancefloor too! It was $25 pp for a buffet. Excellent food too!
