Need help finding favor! Calling all LI Weddings Detectives!
I have looked EVERYWHERE online for these: Kathy116 said she got these at Pier 1, but I cant find them on that web site anymore... they are fabric takeout boxes... everywhere I have looked are either paper, or you have to make them yourself....I dont think I can handle making 200 fabric covered takeout boxes!!!

I don't know if they have the same ones, but pearlriver.com has takeout containers for favors.

You should go to www.papermart.com. I looked at the site and they have your boxes for $.46 each. This is the site that my wedding planner found my purse boxes for my favors and they were cheap also. You need to look under 'colored plastic wire handle boxes'. They have them in all colors including the burgundy you want.

Since my FH proposed to me in a fortune cookie, we are ordering customized fortune cookies with our wedding name and date on one side and a love/wedding-themed fortune on the other side and will put them in these boxes. On the outside, I will attach a tag that has a poem about how he proposed in a fortune cookie....so they understand the meaning behind the favor....and also a lucky chinese coin with ribbon threaded through it, like this:
